The Seneca Park Zoo's Butterfly Beltway Project provides a unique opportunity for facilities who cater to people with special needs to make a lasting connection to the Zoo. A first-year visit includes the planting of a garden of plants specific to the native species of butterflies, a sign to proudly state your participation in this important conservation effort, a butterfly craft, a butterfly story, an engaging and interactive educational discussion of the butterfly life cycle and the Monarch migration and a Monarch release. Consequent visits include a garden check up, craft, educational component and annual release.
Cost:
- $500: To plant a new garden
