Ways to support the Seneca Park Zoo Society
There are countless ways to support Rochester's only Zoo. Whether your goal is to promote your company, support a valuable community resource, improve the lives of your employees or invest in Rochester, we will develop a Corporate Membership program that addresses your company's needs. Some of the most common Corporate Membership opportunities:
Annual Corporate Membership
Starting at just $500, corporations make donations to the Zoo's general operating fund. In exchange, corporations receive a wide variety of benefits including recognition on the Zoo's Corporate Board and Web site, discounts for employees, VIP tours and a subscription to ZooNooz, our quarterly newsletter with a circulation of almost 25,000 (benefits dependent upon level of membership).
Event Sponsorship
Corporations who wish to have their name associated with a specific event may choose to sponsor one of the many annual events held at the Zoo which include Jungle Jog, ZooBoo, Breakfast with Santa and Zoobilation, our largest fundraiser. Event sponsorship levels vary greatly (starting at $1,500) with benefits ranging from being recognized on event-specific literature to naming rights for the event. Most events at the Zoo are publicized through local TV, radio and newspaper outlets.
Program Sponsorship
Program sponsorship opportunities at the Zoo include education, conservation and outreach programs. Current programs include Zoo Camps, the ZooTeen and E.C.C.O. Leadership programs, Book and Beast and Bunk with the Beasts Overnights (educational); the Butterfly Beltway Project, Go Green! Recycle rallies and Our Fragile World Environmental Fair (conservation). Along with this, the Zoo Calendar and Photo Contest and Zoo e-Nooz sponsorships are excellent marketing opportunities for your business.
Exhibit Sponsorship
Corporations are also given the opportunity to sponsor a specific animal exhibit at the Zoo. Annual exhibit sponsorships start at $1,000 and include the benefit of a customized sign prominently displayed at the exhibit. We truly value all of our corporate members and their many gifts. This essential support helps the Zoo continue to grow and evolve as a leading community attraction. For questions on how the Zoo Society and your business can form a mutually beneficial partnership, contact Chuck Levengood, Director of Development, at (585.336.7205 or clevengood@senecazoo.org) or Rachel Baker August, Executive Director, (585.336.7210 or raugust@senecazoo.org).
Thanks to the many corporations that support your Zoo through financial contributions and/or the donation of goods and services.
